Botanical garden
The botanical garden of Oasi Fiume Alento is a natural environment conceived with educational purposes for the visitors, in which plants are classified under scientific criteria.
It includes the most representative plant communities of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park: the Mediterranean vegetation, wetland, high-altitude grassland, coast and dune vegetation up to the traditional vegetable garden. Strolling along the little paths it is possible to learn the several types of vegetation of the second largest National Park in Italy.

This collection of local plants is  high-valued heritage from a naturalistic, scientific and cultural point of view.
