Located in the hart of the National Park of Cilento , Alburni and Valle di Diano , within a SIC area ( Site of community importance) of 3.024 hectares that includes much of the river Alento, the Oasis Alento river is a large naturalistic park , offering a wide range of turist services. In the complex there is a dam on land that , blocking the river course , creates an artificial lake of about 1.7 km.
Along the right bank of the watercourse is the natural oasis , made up of lakes of important ecological value , which aims to help safeguard the wealth of biodiversity through conservation activities. The integrity of the natural habitat of the oasis has for years been an original attraction for families , schools and sports.
For guests are available : Guided tours , horse and bike excursions , with cars and electric bus , educational workshop , 8 romms for the overnight stay , botanical garden , pic-nic area equipped with barbecue , two bars , football and volleyball fields , thematic exhibitions and banqueting area , shop with typichal products , archey sailing , hiking trails , huts of birdwatching , bike and mountain bike rentals , playground and convention center.
